Refund Policy

All tickets bought from Ghosts Unlimited, either online or through a third party are non-refundable. Only in exceptional circumstances will we consider issuing a refund of which proof maybe required.
If you need to cancel your tickets this must be through our booking office on 01788 461 154 – 7 days prior to your tour date. If you cancel after the 7 days we may not be able to re book you onto another tour or event.
All our courses, once ordered are non-refundable. The courses are designed to be completed at your own pace.
All our workshops are non-refundable.

Health and Safety

Our guides are very experienced in looking after each one of our guests and are required to warn you of any possible risks. All tour guests are responsible for their own safety and well-being throughout each tour.
We ask that you pay attention when crossing roads and that you do so with your own personal safety in mind.
Due to the historic nature of some of our sites we ask you to be aware of any dangers, such as uneven and wet floors, climbing on stones, structures and bare in mind that some of our locations have steps that you enter and leave on.
Some of our sites are National Monuments, Protective Sights and Sights of Extreme Interest, please listen carefully to the instructions on the night that are given by our tour guides.
All our tours are suitable for everyone unless otherwise stated. If you do bring children to one of our tours, please be aware that you are solely responsible for them. Ghosts Unlimited will not accept responsibility for any children on our tours.
Some of ghost tours and events are outdoors and suitable clothing is recommend including suitable footwear. Some of our tours are not suitable for wheel chair users, please check with the booking office which tours are available.
If you have difficulty walking, please advise the booking office and we may be able to change a tour to suit, or put you on an easier walking tour.
Guide or assistance dogs are allowed on our tours. If you would like to bring your dog on our tour, please contact our booking office for further advice.
Unless otherwise stated there are no sleeping facilities at our events. We suggest that you bring a comfortable cushion to sit on whilst carrying out vigils or taking breaks.
Ghosts Unlimited accepts no responsibility for any clothing, equipment, damage to vehicles, parking fines, clamping of vehicles.
All property and effects belonging to you are your responsibility and we would urge you to protect your property and keep all said articles safe whilst attending the event.
All under 18 year old must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We hold the right to check ID to confirm your correct age. Failure to produce ID may result in you not attending the tour.

Weather Conditions

Our tours take place irrespective of weather conditions, unless we are advised by the Met Office. The weather will not stop a tour and we will do our tours come rain or shine and especially thick, thick, fog and the snow. Please ensure that every member of your party is aware of this and ask them to dress according to the weather forecast. Bad weather does not constitute a valid reason for cancelling a tour.

Ghost Tours, Paranormal Ghost Tours, Haunted Ghost Tours, Events & Investigations

Ghosts Unlimited will never guarantee that something will happen on any tour or event. We DO NOT stage any event on our tours or events. If something does happen, then this is a bonus and as a matter of legality is beyond the control of Ghosts Unlimited.
All tours/events and overnight locations are all based on fact and research, but we do not guarantee the information to be always be 100% accurate and no information is ever 100% conclusive.
No part of the tour is staged and we do not do scare tours.

Changes to a Tour

Ghosts Unlimited reserves the right to make changes to any tour, or part of a tour at any time. If circumstances beyond our control dictate, we have the right to cancel a tour. We will contact you if there are any major changes to a tour and will offer you the option of either switching to another date or tour. In the event of any last minute changes, such as road closures or none inclusion of advertised section, we will have already revised the route.

There are occasions when events are cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of Ghosts Unlimited, the event will be re-scheduled. We will endeavour to ensure that every guest is made aware of a cancelled event as soon as possible.  Ghosts Unlimited will not refund any expenses incurred due to the cancellation of an event, this includes travel and hotel expenses.

Filming and Photography

Ghosts Unlimited reserve the right to photograph and/or film any tour or location. All material is subject to copyright by Ghosts Unlimited. If you do not want to be filmed or photographed please inform the booking office to confirm that the tour or event you are attending is not being photographed or filmed.

Behaviour

Ghosts Unlimited reserves the right to refuse participation in a tour to anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We also ask that you do not bring alcohol to drink on the tour.
Anyone whose behaviour is disruptive or is spoiling the enjoyment of a tour for other tour participants will be asked to leave the tour. No refunds will be given should this happen.
All our tours are non smoking tours this includes all vaping devices.
Each guest will act in a responsible manner and respect the needs of others. You will not cause harm or injury to anyone else or put yourself or anyone else in danger. You will respect the nature of the event and behave accordingly. When leaving the event you will ensure that due to the lateness of the hour you will respect the needs of nearby residents by leaving quietly and quickly.

Tickets

You must present your E-TICKET to the tour guide on the night of your tour. If you fail to show your E-Ticket you may not be allowed on the tour or event.
If you have booked through a third party, please follow all instructions on booking. Late bookings maybe refused. We will only guarantee your placement if you have booked through our website or have booked direct with our booking office.
If you have bought your ticket through a 3rd party, you must follow all instructions on how to book. You will receive a confirmation from our booking office once you have booked on to the tour of your choice. You must present the booking confirmation/E-Ticket from Ghosts Unlimited otherwise you maybe refused entry to the tour or event.
All promotion tickets are valid for 3 months. You can book onto a future tour within that period, but must be booked within the 3 months from date of issue.
If you ticket does get re-issued for any reason, the new ticket is valid for 3 months from the date it is re-issued. You must book your tour within the 3 months otherwise Ghosts Unlimited will not honour the ticket(s).

3rd Party Vouchers are upgrade-able. They are only valued at the price on the voucher.
If you would like to upgrade, contact our booking office, and speak to a booking manager who will then advise on the difference of payment. Please note, that if you do upgrade it will be at the full price, minus the face value of your voucher.

Marketing and Promotion

It is illegal to use any of our photos, logo’s or other promotional material without the prior permission from Ghosts Unlimited. We will take strong legal action to anyone that uses material without prior consent.

Ghosts Unlimited reserve the right to take photographs for promotional and research purposes. Ghosts Unlimited have the right to film all tours and events.

Parking 

We have included a car parking option on on menu system. This is for information only and Ghosts Unlimited cannot be held responsible for any incorrect information. Please check before travelling to any location. Any costs that are incurred cannot be passed onto Ghosts Unlimited. It is your responsibility to park you car legally and safely.

Cookies

We use cookies on our web site. These allow us to remember where you have been. We do not collect any personal information with our cookies and no information will ever be stored. Our cookies are destroyed once you log out of our web site.

Privacy

Ghosts Unlimited will never sell your personal information to any third party. We reserve the right to use data given to us for marketing and research purposes. We Do Not Store ANY Credit Card Details on Any System. If you have booked through a third party, we do not have any of your credit card details. All information is held in accordance with GDPR and DPA 2019.

Pay Monthly

Once we have received your application, we will set you up on the longest payment plan possible for the chosen event.
We do not take an initial deposit, but the first payment must be paid with-in 24 hours of the payment plan being set up. If the payment is not received we have the right to cancel the payment plan.
Each payment plan is set up manually, we do not normally run a credit check on your file, but we hold the right to check all information and if we decide to run a credit check, then we will contact you before hand.
We charge a one of admin fee of £5.00 to your monthly payment plan.
Once we have received your first payment, your tickets are reserved. If you cancel the payment plan no refund will be issued.
Once you have completed the payment plan, you will then be sent your tickets for your event which will include ALL information that is required for the event.
If you fail to make payments within the agreement of your payment plan, we have the right to cancel all future payment plans. If you miss a payment, a late payment charge maybe applied to your account. Our late payment charge is: £12.00 per late payment. If a payment is not made with-in 7 days of the initial payment, we have the right to cancel the payment plan and no refund will be issued.
If you are having difficulty in making payment, please speak to our customer service team who maybe able to help. If a payment does become over due, you will automatically receive reminders.
We have the right to pass your details over to a credit agency at anytime.
All payments must be settled 30 days before the event. If payments are not settled 30 days prior to the event, we will not issue ticket for entry.
Ghosts Unlimited do not store your details on their internal systems. All transactions and payment plans are 100% secure and fall in line with GDPR and DPA 2019
